Don’t be a Dick in LGBTQ Pride month!

It’s PRIDE month. LGBTQ citizens are exercising their right to be themselves, to openly declare their gender and sexual preferences without fear of prosecution and generally without interference from the rest of society. This wasn’t always the case and that’s why PRIDE month is so important. It’s a show of solidarity. It’s not just LGBTQ peoples’ opportunity to stand up and be counted – it’s our opportunity to show our acceptance of our fellow men and women.

OK follow those too,
But know that they only apply to you.

Go ahead, do your thing,

It’s no skin off my nose,

Until you start claiming,

Your Holy book knows,

How others should live,

And you start to impose,

Your rules and your hatred,

Then we become foes.
