Happy Darwin Day 2023

Darwin’s theory underpins modern biology, zoology, botany, anthropology, antibiotics & vaccinations.

It’s Darwin Day again!

On this day in 1809 (the same day Abraham Lincoln was born), Charles Darwin entered this world in Shrewsbury, England. He’s the bloke who, along with Alfred Russel Wallace, gave us the theory of evolution by means of natural selection. So celebrate!

Darwin and Wallace’s theory isn’t just valuable because it underpins modern biology, zoology, botany and even anthropology. It’s also the reason why we have medicines such as antibiotics and vaccinations that keep on working, year on year. Cheers, Charles!
